Learning outcomes The student can:

  • take action (individually or part of a collective) to create value for others; (VBAB7)
  • reflect on his/her own sustainable entrepreneurship competences (comp. 7)can describe and reflect on his/her role in the group processes that took place during the minor. (VBAB6 & VBAB7)
Content Sustainable entrepreneurship in the green domain.

This minor is suitable for third and fourth year students with and without experience in entrepreneurship and want to develop Entrepreneurship

Students will have the opportunity to participate in this minor to explore international entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship at a deeper level. Students will explore different aspects of sustainability. Students will give meaning to sustainable (international) entrepreneurship and of social entrepreneurship in the green domains.

The content will be partly driven by the choices of the participating student themselves. Students will reflect on themselves and their entrepreneurial competences. They will write and pitch a sustainable value proposition plan for an entrepreneur, business and/or innovation and a personal entrepreneurial action plan which has the potential to create a win-win-win situation for people, profit and planet. The goal is that students from different disciplines and nationalities will participate in this minor and group work will be stimulated.


 
Target group Internal and external – students with startup ambition-
Added Value This minor is helping students realizing their startup ambition. Students develop a business plan according the standards of a sustainable / circular economy. Different lessons and training sessions support the students on their way of entrepreneurship.

Assessments There are two individual partial examinations:

VBA4M2VEENT1 Portfolio
Weight 1.
Individual exam based on a completed portfolio which includes group and individual assignments, professional products and personal reflection and process reports.

VBA4M2VEENT2 Criteria based on professional product
Weight 1.
Individual criteria based interview on the portfolio, oral.
